For many college papers, a prompt will ask questions related to readings and class discussion, asking you to demonstrate analysis and discussion of the topic. Decoding what a prompt is asking can be overwhelming, but the sooner you understand a prompt, the sooner you can start writing! Sponsored by the Center for Reading and Writing, this student workshop will explore strategies for breaking down a writing prompt, including how to interpret keywords and characteristics. Come prepared with a prompt you are currently working on for class. Open to all students. Register on the CRW website. For more information, please contact Priscilla Tovey, ptovey@ramapo.edu.
