The Friends of Â鶹´«Ã½ Scholarships<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Friends of Â鶹´«Ã½ have annually awarded scholarships to Ramapo College eligible students. Funded from annual membership fees and proceeds from Friends of Â鶹´«Ã½ events and fundraisers, these scholarships help students reach their greatest potential.<\/p>\n

In 1975, the Friends established its first endowment fund for student scholarships.\u00a0 In\u00a02012, the Friends of Â鶹´«Ã½ started a second endowment,\u00a0the \u201cScholarship for the Arts\u201d<\/strong>, to specifically recognize students in the School of Contemporary Arts.<\/p>\n

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Friends\u00a0in 2023, a new endowed scholarship \u201cFriends@50\u201d<\/strong> was established. This new scholarship will honor the rich tradition of service demonstrated by the Friends of Â鶹´«Ã½ and their work on behalf of the College by selecting a student that has actively displayed a commitment to community volunteerism. To date, the Friends of Â鶹´«Ã½ have awarded over 350 scholarships valued at $550,000 to Ramapo College students.<\/p>\n
