CERTIFICATION CREDIT EVALUATION (CCE)
Matriculated undergraduate students at Â鶹´«Ã½ are eligible to apply for a Certification Credit Evaluation. Common types of certifications evaluated include but are not limited to: American Red Cross First Aid and CPR, New Jersey Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and New Jersey Municipal Police Basic Course for Police Officers (2000-2015 only).  These credits are awarded as the equivalent of currently offered Â鶹´«Ã½ courses provided that the course content and learning outcomes align and that the number of hours of instruction are determined to be adequate.
Please note that all certifications must be current in order to be evaluated for credit. Credits awarded through this process are considered transfer credits and are subject to all transfer credit policies and restrictions: /provost/policy/transferring-academic-credit/.
Interested students must submit the following to the Office of Admissions.
New students should submit all documentation to the Admissions Office at the time of application. Continuing students should refer to Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s transfer credit and residency policies as part of their planning: /provost/policy/undergraduate-residency-requirement/. If a student has already reached the maximum amount of transfer credit allowed, no additional credits will be awarded for certifications.
