SBIO 110/112 Fundamentals of Biology I and II (lecture and lab) 8 crs.
SCHM 110/111 Fundamentals of Chemistry I (lecture and lab) 4 crs.
SCHM 112/113 Fundamentals of Chemistry II (lecture and lab) 4 crs.
SCHM 210/211 Organic Chemistry I (lecture and lab) 4 crs.
SCHM 212/213 Organic Chemistry II (lecture and lab) 4 crs.
SPHY 110/112 Fundamentals of Physics I and II 8 crs.
SBIO 221 General Ecology 3 crs.
SBIO 331 Genetics 4 crs.
SBIO 356 Evolution 3 crs.
SBIO 406 Cell and Molecular Biology 4 crs.
and two of the following 6-8 crs.
  SMTH 111 Calculus I* (4 crs.)
SMTH 112 Calculus II (4 crs.)
SCMP 147 Computer Science I (4 crs.)
M/SPSY 242 Statistics* (3 crs.)
 
Biology Electives** 10 crs.
  TEN credits of courses approved by Biology faculty. One course must be 300/400 level and one must be a lab or a field course, only one elective at the 200 level.  

  Minimum 62-64 crs.

* Recommended for students planning to go to graduate school.
**A maximum of 3 credits of Independent Study OR Cooperative Education credits may be applied to the Biology electives requirement.
NOTE: Student must have at least a C average in Fundamentals of Biology I and II to take any 300 level Biology elective.
NOTE: Anatomy and Physiology I and II are the equivalent of one elective.
NOTE: Students must complete a minimum of one-half of the requirements of the major/minor at Ramapo College.

Note: Student must have at least a C average in Fund. of Biology I & II to take any 300 level Biology course.

  Minimum Major Credits at Âé¶¹´«Ã½: 61 crs.

Plus the following prerequisite courses for the PT program at UMDNJ  
M/SPSY 101 Introduction to Psychology
Also fulfills the General Education Social Science requirement at Âé¶¹´«Ã½.)
3 crs.
A Clinical Cooperative Education Course 3-6 crs.
  This course should be taken through the Cahill Center for Experiential Learning. This is not a requirement of the Biology
Program, but a prerequisite for entering Physical Therapy at UMDNJ. It is recommended that this course be taken in the
Summer between the second and third year at Âé¶¹´«Ã½.
 

The Senior Seminar requirement for this major is fulfilled by PTMS 4161/4162 Scientific Inquiry I & II (4 credit total to be taken the first year at UMDNJ).
