Student Health Insurance Waiver Criteria and Instructions

In order to opt-out of the Ramapo College of New Jersey sponsored Health Insurance Plan, the student must provide proof of existing insurance coverage and must agree to maintain coverage throughout the entire academic year. The insurance plan must provide coverage in New Jersey.

To waive the Ramapo College of New Jersey sponsored health insurance coverage, you can follow the steps for either of the two methods of accessing the waiver provided below:

Method One:

• Go to聽
• Select the 鈥渨aiver form鈥� in the left hand navigation menu
• Enter your student ID and date of birth and click continue
  • Answer the pre-waiver form questions and click continue
  • Enter insurance information and click apply

Method Two:

• Log into聽
• Locate the Student Account Info card
• Click on the Medical Insurance Waiver link
• Enter your student ID and date of birth and click continue
  • Answer the pre-waiver form questions and click continue
  • Enter insurance information and click apply

Please allow two business days from the date you successfully completed your insurance waiver for the credit to appear on your account.

Student Medical Insurance Waiver Deadlines:

• Fall 2025 semester is September 26, 2025
• Spring 2026 semester is February 27, 2026

Parking Fee

• The Parking Fee waiver form should only be used if you do not want to apply for a parking permit.
• Do not mistake the submitting of a Parking Fee waiver as an application for a parking permit
• If you submit a Parking Fee waiver form, you cannot subsequently apply for a parking permit. If you apply for a parking permit after submitting a waiver, your application will be denied
• Submitting a parking waiver results in a credit to your account. The Parking Fee charge is not removed from your account, instead an offsetting credit is posted for both the parking charge and the parking tax charge (when applicable).聽 Your student account will reflect both the charge and the credit
• When the parking waiver form is submitted, the waiver will be posted to your account the 蹿辞濒濒辞飞颈苍驳听day

Parking Waiver Deadlines:

• Summer 2025 semester is July 11, 2025
• Fall 2025 semester is September 26, 2025
• Spring 2026 semester is February 27,2026
• Summer 2026 semester is July 10, 2026

Parking Permit Fee Waiver Step-by-Step Instructions:

• Log into聽
• Locate the Student Account Info card
• Click on the Parking Waiver link
• On the Answer a Survey page, click the dropdown menu
• Read the terms and conditions
• Scroll all the way to the bottom
• Click the Survey Complete button
• The process is complete. Please allow one business day for the waiver to reflect on your bill

Revocation of Electronic 1098-T Form

Students who wish to withdraw their consent to receive their IRS Form 1098-T electronically and receive a paper form can fill out the following form and submit it to the Office of Student Accounts. Please note, this form must be filed annually for every year you wish to receive a paper copy of your 1098-T.

Revocation of Title IV Authorization Form

Students who wish to withdraw their consent to apply Title IV financial aid to other charges, such as parking permits, student medical insurance, bookstore charges, etc., can fill out the following form and submit it to the Office of Student Accounts. Please note, students are responsible to pay any outstanding balance created by not utilizing Title IV aid to pay other charged.聽 Students must follow the posted payment deadlines for the semester and must understand that they are subject to a $200 late fee and/or deregistration from their courses if they do not pay in-full as per College policy.
