In order to opt-out of the Ramapo College of New Jersey sponsored Health Insurance Plan, the student must provide proof of existing insurance coverage and must agree to maintain coverage throughout the entire academic year. The insurance plan must provide coverage in New Jersey.
To waive the Ramapo College of New Jersey sponsored health insurance coverage, you can follow the steps for either of the two methods of accessing the waiver provided below:
Please allow two business days from the date you successfully completed your insurance waiver for the credit to appear on your account.
Students who wish to withdraw their consent to receive their IRS Form 1098-T electronically and receive a paper form can fill out the following form and submit it to the Office of Student Accounts. Please note, this form must be filed annually for every year you wish to receive a paper copy of your 1098-T.

Students who wish to withdraw their consent to apply Title IV financial aid to other charges, such as parking permits, student medical insurance, bookstore charges, etc., can fill out the following form and submit it to the Office of Student Accounts. Please note, students are responsible to pay any outstanding balance created by not utilizing Title IV aid to pay other charged.聽 Students must follow the posted payment deadlines for the semester and must understand that they are subject to a $200 late fee and/or deregistration from their courses if they do not pay in-full as per College policy.
